19th May Commemoration of Ataturk, Youth and Sports Day

Week-long activities were held in our school within the scope of May 19 Youth and Sports Day. Tug of war and running races were held throughout the week. In the running race held among the female students of our school, Zehra Kaya from class 11-A came first, Elanur Öztürk from class 11-D came second, and Senanur Bektaş from class 11-A came third. In the running race held among the male students of our school, Harun Kasap from 12-D class came first, Berat Kazım Okyay from 12-I class came second, Parsa Yurtseven from 12-C class and Yüksel Taha Gündüz from 12-E class came third. On Friday, our students enjoyed the food they made and the drinks they brought at the kermess organized by our school’s German teacher Tuba Vural. Many activities such as tug of war, musical chairs, survivor competition and various dance shows were also held in our school. In the tug of war competition held between 11-B and 10-A classes, 11-B class came first, 10-A class came second, and 12-A class came third. The first place in the musical chairs competition among female students of our school was Yaren Özgürel from class 12-E, and the first place in the musical chairs among male students was Ege Mert Paçacı from class 9-C. The musical chairs competition was also held among the teachers of our school, and the winner was our English teacher Benay Kural Bayrak. Apart from these, our students had fun with the hairdresser stand, stone painting stand and board games stand set up by our school’s eTwinning club.
